OUR STORY
Joel + Tamrah Ellenbecker followed their dreams through founding Fortitude Krav Maga in Neenah, Wisconsin in 2018. Their passion was to create a community full of life-loving, positive, and growth-oriented people through offering self defense and fitness classes. Since then, their community has grown to serve hundreds of people in their state through classes, online coaching, seminars, private events, and more. We are proud to offer the highest level of Krav Maga training available in the state of Wisconsin!
Pictured here is from our 2022 Active Shooter Neutralization Seminar, where we brought together top instructors from around the country to teach our community tactics for safety in handling an active shooter situation. We are grateful to host events like this every year and to be part of the best network in the field!

KMW Training Centers, by Krav Maga Worldwide, are full service training grounds, providing the finest Krav Maga self-defense, fitness and fighting instruction.
Krav Maga Worldwide is currently the largest reality-based self defense organization in the world with over 240 licensed schools, over 500 law enforcement and government agencies and multiple specialized military units trained.
All of our Krav Maga instructors complete rigorous certifications with Krav Maga Worldwide to provide you the best training experience possible.

TEAM VAGHI BJJ
Led by Rodrigo Vaghi, a 5th degree BJJ Black Belt and student of Rickson Gracie, Team Vaghi is one of the most established jiu-jitsu teams in the Midwest. Our Northern Region affiliation spans throughout the Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan areas.
Our curriculum is beginner-friendly with emphasis on cultivating a welcoming environment to learn the vast curriculum in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. The opportunities for growth are endless!

THE CELLAR GYM
We work Muay Thai Curriculum by Chris Cichon, in accordance with the Cellar Gym! Chris began his training at the age of 6 years old and has trained/competed in a variety of styles including: Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu, and Karate. He has built an impressive competition record, but has always preferred his role as a coach and teacher.
In 2009, he won the IKF Light-Middleweight World Title. He was also a 4x National Champion and was selected to the USA National Kickboxing Team where he fought in Poland, England, Ireland, Italy, and Brazil. Chris holds a 3rd Degree Black Belt in American Karate and a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
Chris has worked as the head striking coach for several UFC, Bellator, Glory, Lion Fight, and Legacy fighters. He has trained numerous Kickboxing and Muay Thai champions and is a Head Coach for Team USA Kickboxing.
